Design thinking has shaped my work for over two decades—solving problems, creating clarity, and bringing beauty to the places where life feels tangled. But the most meaningful design work I’ve done? Helping women gently redesign the parts of their lives that feel ready for a shift.
Life Design is a small-group, reflection-driven process inspired by the principles of Designing Your Life and rooted in the same thoughtful questioning and creative problem-solving I use in my design practice. It’s intentional, intimate, and grounded in the belief that clarity grows when we have space to listen—to ourselves and each other.
THE QUESTIONS
I facilitate by asking questions—not to fix or advise, but to help you uncover what you’re really seeking. This is a collaborative space where vulnerability is valued, deep listening is practiced, and curiosity is your guide.
My first cohort began in a living room with my neighbors in midlife, all navigating big questions. I used to think our closeness made it work—but over time, I’ve learned it’s something deeper. When women are given the right container—clear expectations, gentle structure, thoughtful questions—we naturally support one another.
You don’t need to arrive with a plan.
You don’t need to arrive with friends.
You simply need to arrive open.
HOW IT WORKS:
Transformation happens in small groups with intention, curiosity, and honest reflection.
Women in midlife or transition.
Those feeling a shift, completing a chapter, or sensing that a new direction wants to emerge.
If you want to design your next season of life with the same intention you’d bring to a home or creative project—this is for you.
CLARITY: What you truly want in this moment of your life
CONTRIBUTION: What feels meaningful now, and how to move toward it
CONNECTION: Insight and reflection within a small circle of women asking similar questions

Realizing that I could design my life instead of just letting it unfold was empowering, exciting — and a little scary. Lois helped clear the cloudy film that had been blocking my view forward.

If you’re feeling a shift—or simply curious about what this kind of guided reflection might open for you—I’d love to hear from you. Share a few details, and I’ll be in touch as soon as a new cohort is forming.
Intentional groups take time to assemble, and this form helps me connect the right women at the right moment.
